2026blickt Westwerk auf eine 40-jährige Geschichte von Kollaboration, Kooperation und Vernetzung zwischen Künstler:innen und anderen kreativen Menschen in allen Medien und Sparten zurück. Aber jetzt blicken wir nach vorn! Im kommenden Jahr will Westwerk als freier Kunstort eine offene Plattform für Aussichten, Spielvariationen und Modelle weiterer kollektiver und experimenteller Prozesse bieten.

Wir laden ein, zu den Themen »Gemeinschaft, Kollektiv, Kooperation, Kollaboration« Ideen und Konzepte für
die Zukunft zu entwickeln. Liebe Künstler:innen, Künst-
ler:innengruppen, Kurator:innen und Kunsttheoreti-
ker:innen, wir suchen eure Projekte, die Gemeinschaften stärken, neue Formen der Zusammenarbeit erforschen
und vernetzende Praktiken fördern. Alle künstlerischen Disziplinen und Synergien verschiedener Medien sind denkbar, ob klassische Hängung, Installation, Performance, Lecture, Podiumsdiskussion, Video- und Soundinstallation, Konzert oder mehr.

In 2026, Westwerk will be celebrating 40 years of collabo-
ration, cooperation and networking between artists and other creative people in all media and disciplines. Looking
to the future, Westwerk, as an independent art space, is offering an open platform for perspectives, permutations and models for further collective and experimental processes.

We invite you as cultural accomplices – artists, artist groups, curators and art theorists – to develop ideas and concepts for the future on the themes of »community, collective, cooperation, collaboration«. We are looking for projects
that strengthen communities, explore new forms of collaboration and promote networking practices. All artistic disciplines and synergies of different media are conceivable, whether classical hanging, installation, performance, lecture, panel discussion, video and sound installation, concert …
